MALT ISLAND
Malt Island (Wyspa Slodowa) is a small island in the Odra river situated within Wroclaw’s Old Town, near Bleachery Island (Wyspa Bielarska) and Mill Island (Wyspa Mlynska). It is separated from Mill Island by a narrow canal, linked to it by Malt Bridge (Most Slodowy) and linked to Bleachery Island by a 20-meter St. Clara Bridge – all that remains of St. Clara Mills that once stood at both ends of the bridge.
The island is located near Bema Square, between Drobnera and Grodzka Streets, and between a footbridge and Malt Bridge.
