Club sound of Brave Festival
MLECZARNIA, situated at Włodkowica 5 Street will be a spot converging plenty of unique festival events: meetings with artists, workshops, displays and concerts. The Festival club will guest artists such as Gogo Milungu Group from Tanzania, members of Irkutsk Authentic Ensamble Music and a group of women from Caucasus, who perform under the name Marszua Kawkaz , that means No more war! Peace on Caucasus!
Equally significant event will be a meeting with Abramz Tekya – a founder of Breakdance Project Uganda or screening of a movie Living God presenting Theyyam – an ancient ritual from Kerala.
At the same time, next to meetings dedicated to social commitment, Mleczarnia will be the place where guests from the most remote corners of the world and polish artists will exchange music experiences and inspirations.
Natu – Natalia Przybysz, well-known for playing with Sistars band, will perform on 9 July in Mleczarnia club.
This time Natalia together with Envee known for working with Niewinni Czarodzieje collective and with her musicians will be presenting compositions from the newest, solo album Maupka comes Home.
Natu’s performance during Brave Festival is not random. Natu derives her inspirations from far cultures, discovers dying out sounds during travels across the world in order to combine ethnic elements with contemporary music.
During Festival audience will also have a great opportunity to become acquainted with figures of musicians and DJs from Wrocław, who look for inspirations in ethnic rhythms.
On 8 July Mleczarnia club invites you for Mamatucada band concert. Mamatucada is a female Brazilian samba percussive ensemble.
The programme of festival club includes also display of playing on instruments such as hang and conga.
It is worth accepting invitation to committed, conscious, meditative reception of festival’s idea and its events.
